Laguna Seca Monterey, California
Festorics is a celebration of the diversity and the mystique of BMW, the cars and their owners and our appreciation for the brand. Since its beginnings Festorics has improved year by year in every one of the aspects by what this event is measured; the exciting setting, the Hospitality, the efficient organization, our enthusiastic audience, the awareness at BMW NA, and above all, the elegance, originality and state of preservation of the participating automobiles.
The Festorics corral at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca offers both two—day trackside parking alongside other BMW enthusiasts, as well as an excellent venue from which to watch the legendary races of the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Available packages include the opportunity to buy corral tickets, lunch and dinner tickets, and race tickets to the Motorsports Reunion races themselves.
Legends is hosted by the BMW Car Club of America, the Mercedes—Benz Club of America, and the Audi Club of America. The annual concours event offers both corral and judged areas, awards for all three featured marques, and an open class for all other German—made cars. The show field also features displays from manufacturers, sponsors, and vendors, along with several lunch options, and an available breakfast.
Each year, the concours draws over 400 registered cars and over 3,000 spectators that fill the fairways of the Nicklaus Club-Monterey. Spectators are regularly greeted by rare and historically significant models, as well as factory-prepared specials. And the 2016 edition of the show is particularly special as Legends kicks off the 100th anniversary celebration for BMW in Monterey and will be the first of three events that compose the Celebrate BMW festival hosted by the BMW CCA.
The Legends Of The Autobahn® concours has become a national sensation among German car enthusiasts with widespread coverage in the automotive media. In 2011 the event gained international recognition with the North American debut of the BMW 328 Hommage concept car. In 2012 we saw the debut of BMW’s Zagato Z4 Roadster concept, and in 2014 we saw the unveiling of the highly-anticipated M4 GTS concept car.
Make plans to join the BMW Car Club of America, the Mercedes Club of America, and the Audi Club of North America—the world’s preeminent German-marque car clubs—at the annual Legends Of The Autobahn® concours d’elegance.
Register your BMW, Mercedes, Audi, or other German—made vehicle now for this spectacular celebration of automotive engineering before it’s sold out.

For 2016, The Vintage will be moving to Asheville, located in the mountains of North Carolina. The area offers some great roads so several drives are planned, and the main display on Saturday will be at a fantastic piece of property at Hot Springs, NC.
The location may have changed, but the event remains the same fun weekend. Lots of hanging out in the hotel parking lot with your vintage BMW friends, special activities like tours of Sierra Nevada brewery, a fun rally on Friday down to the BMW CCA Foundation, and more. Asheville has earned the name "beer city" with more breweries per capita than anywhere else in the U.S., so a trip to downtown Asheville for some brewery hopping would be a good way to spend the evening.
If you are not sure if your BMW is 'vintage' enough for the event, please visit the event website www.atthevintage.com or email the festmeister Scott Sturdy at scottsturdy@yahoo.com.

The jagged peaks and brilliant desert vistas of Colorado made a stunning backdrop for 2014’s Oktoberfest show, but on the horizon, the latest chapter of the show’s story has been unveiled—the 46th Annual BMW CCA Oktoberfest Presented by Michelin. Hosted by the New Jersey Chapter and held from the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club venue, this year’s Oktoberfest trades the high-altitude adventure of Colorado’s Beaver Creek resort for the oceanside experience—and trackside thrill—of Absecon, New Jersey and New Jersey Motorsport Park.
The 46th Annual Oktoberfest will run from Monday, September 21 through Sunday, September 27, 2015, and will feature many of the events that longtime attendees have become familiar with at previous shows, including the renowned Pirelli Concours and the BMW CCA Foundation-sponsored golf tournament, both held this year on the grounds of the host resort. Other events like the Pirelli Throwback Thursday dinner and the gymkhana precision driving course will return too, each with new themes related to the event’s new location. Oktoberfest’s signature rallies and street driving events return as well, along with the Bridgestone Autocross, local area tours and activities in nearby Cape May, tech talks, dinners, and social events—and so does the German biergarten, which has proven to be a member favorite in all its forms.
Track drivers will appreciate access to the high-performance driving world with ample time at the modern and challenging New Jersey Motorsport Park circuits. Oktoberfest will be taking advantage of both tracks offered by NJMP, the first being the 2.25-mile Thunderbolt Raceway—a popular and challenging circuit with a dozen corners, a half-mile straightaway, and 40 acres of paddock space.
The second course, NJMP’s northern Lightning Raceway circuit, is a fast, 1.9-mile course with 10 exciting corners and numerous elevation changes, as well as a 20-acre paddock. Oktoberfest attendees will be able to take full advantage of NJMP’s facilities with four days of High Performance Driver Education clinics and Club Racing, with both circuits reserved by the BMW CCA for the event.
The 46th Annual BMW CCA Oktoberfest Presented by Michelin offers the same exciting automotive experience as previous Oktoberfests enhanced by the dining, shopping, and attractions offered in the local area. Whether for the turn-of-the-century host hotel, the car shows and driving tours, the meals and social events with fellow members of the BMW enthusiast community, the numerous specialized vendor booths of our sponsors, the four days of intense, track-focused, high-performance driving, or any other surprises that have yet to be announced, 2015’s Oktoberfest looks to be a week of excitement and fun for any BMW enthusiast.
Please Note: Official Ofest activities will be suspended at sundown on Tuesday, September 22 until sunset on Wednesday, September 23 in observance of Yom Kippur. We are endeavoring to secure space at local Synagogues for attendees observing the holiday.
Oktoberfest registration and the host hotel room block will open in April.

The Festorics Kickoff Dinner is on Friday, August 14, following Legends Of The Autobahn at the nearby Nicklaus Club Monterey, and marks the beginning of a weekend of exciting trackside action at one of the closest viewing points around Laguna Seca.

Held at the prestigious Nicklaus Club Monterey during Monterey, California’s famed Pebble Beach Concours week, Legends is a result of the combined efforts of the BMW CCA, the Mercedes—Benz Club of America, and the Audi Club of America Legends has grown immeasurably since its transition from a car corral to a fully—fledged show, corral, and clean car contest, and for the past two years has drawn over 400 cars and over 3,000 spectators.
Legends features both corral and judged areas, awards for all three featured marques, and an open class for all other German—made cars. The BMW CCA’s portion of PVGP has grown, too; the event is no longer a two—day car corral, but a complete four—day program that offers something for every BMW enthusiast and includes driving tours, dinners, and charity hot—lap rides thanks to the BMW Performance Center (the latter is shown above).
In 2015, the Allegheny Chapter will feature M cars in the Schenley Park corral overlooking Turn 13 and are inviting all M car owners to join them. For online registration or for more information, visit PVGP.org/bmw or the Allegheny Chapter BMW CCA’s website.
The extended weekend of The Vintage, held each year in Winston—Salem, North Carolina, is the largest gathering of vintage BMWs in North America. The trip is worthwhile for the owners of vintage Bimmers of all varieties, from E24— and E28—series cars to Isettas and classics of the early days of BMW. In addition to the 300—plus vehicle show and vendor activities on Saturday, this year’s show will feature a Friday afternoon fun rally and meet—and—greet, and more festivities on Sunday that have yet to be announced.
