The OEM LIVE/EVO/WAY activation file (OEM FSC) will allow you to bypass the dreaded “Connect USB device with correct activation code” message when attempting to install your new LIVE, EVO, or WAY map data. This OEM activation comes directly from BMW and is based on your specific VIN. This FSC file is a one-time purchase, meaning if you want to update your maps again you can use the same FSC file to install the new map data. Update your BMW's LIVE, EVO, or WAY Navigation map database to the latest version (2024-2 EVO Released August 2024, and 2025-1 LIVE and 2025-1 WAY Released March 2025). This update is supported by all BMW's equipped with ID5 and ID6 EVO, and all LIVE and WAY navigation systems from model years 2016-2024. Based on your VIN, we will send you the appropriate version for your navigation system. Free Shipping!

The update covers all of North America including Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

Since this is a Special Order product, it is not a returnable item.

You have two options for method of delivery. If you select "USB Drive Shipped" you will receive a USB flash drive that contains a vehicle specific map update and instructions on how to install the update. A pre-paid return envelope will also be enclosed for you to return the USB flash drive.

If you select "Download" you will receive an email with the download link and instructions on how to extract the files to a USB drive and install the update. Depending on your computer's speed and internet service, the download and extraction process typically takes two to four hours but may take up to six hours. You will require a 64GB USB for the data transfer to the vehicle.

We also offer 1-Year Subscriptions for Navigation Map Updates. BMW typically releases four EVO/LIVE updates per year and with the 1-year subscription you will receive the newest maps available for one year from your date of purchase. You will be placed on our subscription list and your Download or Shipped USB will be sent within days of the new map release.
